for easter last year john bought me 2 geese and 3 ducks..(i know, just what i wanted). well, one of our ducks got in a fight with two dogs and lost.. and another duck got in a fight with grandpa's hatchet and lost.. so we are left with 2 geese and one duck..(which has a death sentence coming this wednesday for a mutual activity..) so the point of this post is that the 2 geese have turned out to be very mean and they "honk" at everyone and think they own the farm. we have prepared ourselves for a death of these 2 geese for a long time now. but surprisingly enough, one of the geese is laying eggs now! so these are the eggs we have found this week, they are huge! more than 4 times the size of chicken eggs! grandpa says the eggs saved the geese's life!

here is the nest of eggs, we were very proud! grandpa's going to cook them for breakfast!

arys and daddy collecting eggs

and this is a random picture of arys before church. this is the best i could get her to look at the camera

Funny story. But I don't get it are you eating the eggs or letting them hatch. That is why the eggs saved the geeses life. Or are you doing both...there are a lot of eggs.
we are eating the eggs, which means we are saving money from buying eggs at the grocery store, that's why grandpa likes them now
Has John never heard of jewelry? Those eggs are huge!
So what does a goose egg taste like?
definitely not tasting the goose egg.. i don't know why, but it grosses me out
Ha ha ha. Only John. It's amazing that you didn't even have to tell him what you wanted, he just knew. :)
Hilarious that they think they own the farm, too.
Arys was such a cute rag doll for halloween :) I'm pretty sure my doll when I was a girl looked JUST like that. Cutest.
p.s. I just had to type "spirme" in the word verification to publish on your blog. . .
what is blogger making me type?
ha ha
That is too funny! I must say, all the kids have been terrified to go to the farm for fear of the geese! They were all looking forward to geese for thanksgiving! They will be so disappointed! :)Oh the joys of living on a farm!
Hey Lindsay, It's Ka'lia. I am trying to get set up some possible days a month that we can get together and play volleyball. If you are interested e-mail me at kaliasunshine@hotmail.com. If not, No worries. Thanks.
long live the geese! They saved their own lives and they didn't even know it. How fun to find eggs. We missed you today at moms. We all were hanging out with the kids working on some Christmas projects with her. Maybe next time!
You should of gone to the game last night. I saw john and told him to tell you to come next time! he told me about the accident of slipping the head open. I would of died and fainted! well we should get together and do playdates
